BiPAP Machines
BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) or BiLevel machines are advanced sleep therapy devices designed for individuals who need more customized support than standard CPAP machines can provide. Unlike CPAPs that deliver one continuous pressure, BiPAP machines offer two distinct pressure levels—a higher pressure for inhalation (IPAP) and a lower pressure for exhalation (EPAP)—making breathing more natural and comfortable, especially for users who struggle to exhale against constant pressure.
BiPAP machines are commonly prescribed for patients with more complex sleep apnea conditions, such as central sleep apnea (CSA), COPD, or other respiratory disorders. Many models also feature auto-adjusting capabilities (Auto BiPAP), ramp settings, data tracking, and backup respiratory rate functions for additional support.
